1. Dispatch Policy
While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are available to order we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale.
If we are unable to supply the goods required to your particular specifications, you will be notified as soon as possible after we receive your order, and you will be offered a full refund or an alternative.
You will be sent confirmation of your order within a few days, by email. It is the customers' responsibility to notify us of any errors within 2 days of receipt of confirmation.
It is the customers' responsibility to advise us of non-receipt of the confirmation.
Your receipt will specify an estimated despatch date. If we are unable to despatch within a few days of the expected time frame, we will contact you with a revised despatch date. Time of delivery shall not be of the essence of the Contract.
Whilst every effort is made to despatch goods for the estimated due date we can accept no responsibility for consequential losses if the item is delayed.
If you are asked to sign for a parcel make sure you sign as unchecked, or unpack the parcel and check that it is undamaged, before signing.
2. Prices And Tax
Payment must be sent with order. Card transactions are completed before work is started on the sign. The Credit cards accepted are VISA, MASTERCARD, VISA DELTA AND SOLO. International transactions are subject to the exchange rate on the date of transaction. Delivery to outside the UK may result in import duties payable on receipt of the goods. You will be liable for these duties.
3. Cancellation And Returns
Goods received damaged in transit will be replaced as soon as possible free of charge.
Unpack your parcel immediately upon arrival. Check for any damage or shortages. These must be reported by email to sales.signmaker@gmail.com within 12 hours of receiving your shipment.
Faulty goods will be replaced to original order specifications as soon as possible.
Bespoke made items cannot be refunded or credited. If there are any corrections to be made, the item will be collected and the problem rectified.
Goods lost in transit will be remade to the same specifications as the original order. Missing parcels should be reported if they do not arrive within 14 days of the dispatch advice.
We reserve the right to implement a £20 administration and design charge for orders cancelled by customer at any time prior to manufacture of that order. Orders can not be cancelled once the manufacturing process has been started.
Returns are made at the customers' expense, although we may waive this responsibility in certain circumstances. There is a 14 day time limit for returns.
We will not take back half installed vinyl graphics or lettering - inspect your order carefully on arrival.
4. Colours, Shapes And Sizes
The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the web site due to limitations of browser software and monitors.
Also colour variations are likely to occur due to the nature of natural materials used.
Irregular shaped plaques may vary slightly from the samples shown.
All sizes quoted are approximate.
It is the customers responsibility to advise us of any maximum or minimum dimensions at the time of order.
5. Vinyl Lettering And Graphics
All our vinyls are good quality industry standard vinyls. However we cannot guarantee that they will adhere to every surface. Neither can we be held responsible for damage to the substrate once the vinyl is removed. Test samples are available. It is the responsibility of the end user to test for compatability.
6. Proofs
Where proofs are sent out they must be checked in all respect for example Layout - Text - Content - Punctuation - Spelling - Colour. The sign will be made as the proof approved by customer. We cannot accept responsibility for any error in proofs passed or approved by the customer.
NB Colours will vary slightly on all monitors. If it is important that printed or cut vinyl colours be very specific, please ask for a sample to be posted to you before approving the proof.
7. Confidentiality
All confidential information, including credit card details, are held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer details are not passed to third parties, but we reserve the right to pass on customers' contact numbers to parcel carriers in the event of delivery difficulties, unless specifically requested not to do so. All customer details are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
9. Jurisdiction
The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
10. Failed Deliveries
All orders whether 'Free delivery' or 'Charged for' delivery refer to an order being sent to a given address once only.
We reserve the right to request any subsequent delivery costs from the customer, if the item is returned to us due to failed delivery.
11. Photographs And Branding.
We reserve the right to use images of any of our signs, wheel covers and memorials on our web sites or other advertising material. If you would prefer us not to use an image of your order, please let us know on placing the order.
We may also include our branding on the reverse of some products. Again please advise, when placing the order, if you would prefer us not to.
12. Guarantee
We give a years guarantee for all the signs, wheel covers and memorials, although most will last very much longer. For some it does depend on customer care, maintenance and sign position. Should a problem appear in less than a year we will have the product back and correct the problem. For this reason we advise against concreting in posted signs - backfill with earth or use post holders.
NB. We do offer a refurbishment service.
13. Consumer Rights
None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
